Why choose UoP London

A small campus, with big city energy

Education made for you

Our career-focused courses offer inclusive study, real-world learning, and industry connections. Our purpose built campus provides the latest in learning technology, sustainability and student experience. And with us being located in Walthamstow, it enables easy access from across London.

Fixed timetables

Our fixed timetables are provided in advance and remain the same throughout your course, making it easy to plan your studies around part-time work, family commitments or other responsibilities. You’ll attend classes on set days each week, giving you certainty and structure from day one.

You’re assessed at the end of each module, so you receive regular feedback as you progress, without the pressure of assessments overlapping or high-stakes, end-of-year exams.

Block teaching

At the University of Portsmouth London, we use block teaching, a focused and flexible approach designed to help you succeed. You’ll study one module at a time, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in each subject without juggling multiple deadlines.

This approach helps you build understanding step by step, apply feedback straight away, and gain confidence as you move through your course.

A Different Way of Learning | Block Teaching at UoPL

With our unique block teaching method, you will focus on one subject at a time- so you can focus on what you love.

Alternative assessments, so you can focus on learning that lasts.

Plan Your Life with Confidence | Fixed Timetable

Know when you're in, so you can plan when you're out. We offer a fixed timetable, so you'll always know when you'll be in uni.

Define your work schedule, with your life schedule. You receive your timetable prior to starting. It also stays the same throughout your degree.

Each week, you will have two in-person sessions, four hours each, and one two-hour online session.
