Our Careers and Employability Team provide tailored support to help students secure their desired roles, progress in their current careers, or find part-time work while studying. The team offers practical guidance, advice on suitable career paths and job opportunities, useful tips for applications, and support to build confidence at every stage of the journey.
Come and meet the team every Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00am–2:00pm (during term time), for support with part-time job searches, CV writing, and cover letters.

You can visit our drop-in sessions in the Student Lounge every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm, where we can help with finding part-time jobs, volunteering opportunities, CV writing, and cover letters.
You can also book one-to-one online appointments with a careers advisor, where we’ll help you explore career paths, prepare for job applications and interviews, and plan your next steps.
Our part-time job guidance for students including local job opportunities in Walthamstow and nearby areas, recommend trusted job search platforms, and to help students avoid job scams.
