Wenqing is based in London, supporting all teaching and learning activities at the University of Portsmouth’s London campus. Wenqing's role focuses on ensuring the delivery of innovative, collaborative, cost-effective, and scalable learning designs at both the module and course levels.

As part of the Centre for Academic and Digital Innovation (CADI), a centralised team dedicated to enhancing academic and digital support across the university, Wenqing collaborates closely with the Portsmouth campus to drive active blended learning and authentic assessment initiatives at the London campus.

Career Biography

Wenqing previously worked at the University of Portsmouth’s main campus and has a background in library science, education, and technology. Holding a master's degree in Education and Technology from University College London (UCL), Wenqing has experience in the edtech industry as both an instructional designer and product manager.

Additionally, Wenqing served for five years as a technology leader in an NGO, delivering distance education to disadvantaged children, which sparked a strong passion for educational equity. Wenqing is committed to supporting students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, creating an inclusive learning environment.
