UoP London has had a busy week, proudly celebrating the achievements of MSc International Business and Management (IBM) students who took part in two impactful industry live projects.

As part of their Human Resource Management module, led by Dr Deb Sengupta, students collaborated with two international organisations and all participating students were honoured in an event held earlier this week at UoP London campus, Winter Garden.

Fibodo Live Project : Supporting the Wellbeing of NHS Employees

Every IBM student involved in the Fibodo project was recognised for their contribution to the development of The Everything App, a wellbeing platform being created for all 1.5 million NHS employees, the largest workforce in the UK and Europe.

Students worked collaboratively to:

  • Interview NHS staff
  • Identify wellbeing needs and expectations
  • Build employee personas
  • Develop analytical insight strategies to support app design and evaluation

These insights will directly support Fibodo as they tailor the platform to the diverse needs of NHS staff.

To celebrate the students’ work, James Murphy and Jake Shand from Fibodo visited UoP London to present certificates and personally commend the students’ impact.

Maydan Live Project: Additional Recognition for Outstanding Work

Students also engaged in a mini-workshop delivered by Maydan, a Bahrain-based corporate training company that uses adventure sports to develop teams and leaders.

Five students who completed this optional assignment to design a new experiential training programme received additional certificates from Maydan, who joined virtually to personally thank the students.

Their innovative ideas were so well received that they have been invited to co-create a future training programme with the company- a significant honour and an exciting opportunity for professional growth.

Celebrating Every Student, Every Achievement

UoP London is committed to recognising the hard work of every learner. Whether through participation certificates, additional commendations, or invitations to collaborate further, we ensure each student’s effort is acknowledged and celebrated.

From shaping wellbeing tools for NHS staff to designing experiential training programmes for global organisations, our students continue to demonstrate the power of applied learning - and we are proud to celebrate every milestone along the way.
