Dr Fadime Sahin is a dedicated academic with extensive experience in UK Higher Education and a strong background in the finance sector. At the University of Portsmouth, she is responsible for Course Management, Assessment and Examination Boards, Quality Enhancement and Student Support Management. Her teaching draws on more than a decade of experience across UK universities, focusing on subjects within business, accounting and finance. Her approach combines academic rigour with practical insight, aiming to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
Before joining the University of Portsmouth, Dr Fadime Sahin worked for five years at Anglia Ruskin University, London, where she contributed to course design, programme validations, curriculum development, professional accreditation processes and a range of student-focused initiatives. She taught both at the UG and PG levels.
Prior to that, she taught a range of subjects at several leading London universities: at the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London (Level 7), King’s Business School, King’s College London (Level 7) and City, University of London (Level 6). She also worked for Richmond, The American International University in London (Level 4). She has accumulated over a decade of experience in Higher Education in the UK, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, designing curricula and supporting student learning and development.
