We want to work with you to achieve amazing things.
It's important for us to build connections with local businesses, charities and other organisations - both to support our students' career goals and to meet our role as a civic university. Whether you want to share feedback on our building plans, enquire about setting up a degree apprenticeship or offer a placement to one of our students, we'd love to hear from you.
Business and industry
If you're a local business in Waltham Forest or Walthamstow, we want to explore how we can work together to achieve your business' ambitions - and those of our students. We're always interested in discussing placement opportunities. This could be short-term shadowing, year-long placements, or even degree apprenticeship opportunities. For those of you who enjoy public speaking, we'd be delighted to arrange an event where our students could find out more about your career path or sector.
In return, we can offer our students' brilliant problem-solving skills, if you submit a brief for one of our grand challenge modules. We can also help with continuing professional development for your staff - plus, our Research team can put you in touch with our world-leading experts.
Charities and non-profit organisations
We're committed to making a positive impact to Waltham Forest and Walthamstow, and one key link is community groups, local charities and non-profit organisations. We can offer our students' creativity and skills, through our grand challenge modules: send us a problem you need solving, and we'll ask our students to look at different options. We can also offer talks, workshops and support for groups in education, through our Outreach team.
