Dr. Jessie Qun Ren
Senior Lecturer in International Business and Management
Jessie is an experienced and inspirational senior lecturer, passionate about providing an excellent student experience. Her focus is on contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate modules and courses, delivering high quality teaching, developing inspiring module materials, and planning engaging learning activities. She responds to students’ needs and take part in relevant aspects of student support and engagement enhancing the overall student and staff experience.

Career biography:
Jessie has over 10 years of rich teaching and management experience in delivering Business and Marketing Modules to diverse student cohorts, from full-time Foundation, UG, PG and MBA Courses in the UK HE Sector. Before coming to Portsmouth London, Jessie was senior lecturer in the University of Solent and University of West London. Working as External Examiner roles, Jessie has engaged in the moderation of assessment tasks and students’ assessed task for Undergraduate Business Management Programme, University of Coventry and the External Examiner for MBA Course, University of Glyndwr and Foundation courses of University of Reading.
As a researcher with a good track record of publications, Jessie is the Associate Editor for Asia Pacific Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (APJIE), an international, interdisciplinary open-access peer reviewed journal she also is the Senior Editor & Regional Editor for the Journal of Organisational Studies and Innovation (JOSI), an international open-access peer reviewed journal. she secured the externally national level research funding of Academy of Marketing Research Funding 2021.
